Nexternal clients that opt to use Endicia will incur additional charges from Endicia itself for each label that is created. Endicia is one of the most trusted names in ecommerce shipping, with more than 14 billion worth of postage printed and 15+ years in the business. Additionally, merchants didn't have the option of printing to a thermal printer which often speeds the fulfillment process. However, postage was not included on the label and needed to be added manually by the merchant. Prior to the Endicia integration, Nexternal clients could print USPS labels using the USPS Web Tools. Merchants can also opt to use Endicia's stealth postage in the event that they don't want postage displayed to the consumer. Tracking information is automatically fed into the Nexternal Order Management System at which point shipped notification emails are sent to the end consumer complete with tracking information. USPS labels with postage can be printed on a thermal or inkjet printer. This greatly increases the efficiency of the fulfillment process for merchants that ship via the United States Postal Service.
